"The hotel did not have a restaurant as it said online so we had to go to American fast food which was gross. There was a disco right behind our room that kept us up almost all might which also had blazing lights so our room was not dark. The towels were thin and there were only two bath towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Sheets and pillows were clean but old; sheets had pills on them and the pillows were terribly lumpy. Of course, there was no breakfast which was supposed to be included. overall, we considered it a ripoff and will not stay there again."

"We stayed here to make an early flight from Liberia airport and avoid a 70 minute drive from the beach we were staying at. Next time we will stay an extra night at the beach, and catch a 3AM taxi to catch the early flight. There was not enough hot water (not so bad in the tropics), there was load music at night (a concert given by a band from South America - not great for that early flight), and the hotel was not worth the $75 a night for Liberia. Similar accomidations in comperable cities in Costa Rica are much less. Supposedly there are nicer hotels in Liberia, but you can easily arrange reliable taxis from the beach towns to Liberia airport - but make sure to acount for the inexactness of "Tico time" and arrange a pick-up 30 mins before you need it!"
